I am the walrus - Some information on the author

Gerhard Poeschmann was born a dozen days after the ides of march in the year 1973 of our Lord or 11 of our Beatles (personal chronology) in vienna where it all happened.
Here is also where he once met Peter Sabitzer aka corvo who is actually from carinthia. This turns out to be a fact that some people to this day hold against him. Whatever, after having finished the kindergarten successfully and looking for the meaning of life for a year, 1980 John Lennon was shot which gave the author some kind of a psychic shock that finally led him to join the circle of primary schoolboys of the AMS (Albertus Magnus School), only to quit some four years later.
He continued his education at the Sames school in the Billrothstrasse, where he used to spend the first four years in the same room with Martina, Stressnetz Christian's sister and author of the snowboard site which is located there. Furthermore it was his fate to spend the first as well as the last eight years kind of next door to Streßnetz Walter (aka matto). During the first and the last four years he could tell of himself to have been frequenting the same classroom as Carlo aka Random.

After having graduated from school he inscribed at the faculty of social sciences to study communication and political science only to make up his mind a year later and to switch to law. After finally getting through with all his exams on 24 November 2000 he deceided to be through with his studies as well. By January 2nd, 2001 he started his internship at court at the federal court of Korneuburg (For those of you who are keen on finding out where Korneuburg is - look it up on the map - Good fun!). After the internship ended he was pulled out of his regular life by being forced to work as a community servant which is an alternative to military service in some countries. However this ended after 12 months of slavery and now he's happy with his job as at the administrative board of Vienna.

He started this website in April 1997 and it was less than two years later when he first met Amy following a debate over George Harrison's birthdate. She's crazy.;)

His most essential activities to prevent weekly brain rush are music, also connected to the playing of a Vester bass and pubs within the orbit.

His favourite music consists of Beatles, including their individual members'solo work, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Madonna, Roxette, Bon Jovi, and many others. His favourite TV shows are Friends, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and Dallas. His favourite movies is the french movie Oscar with comedian Louis de Funes and Double Trouble featuring Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Not only by this but also by his statement that he liked Turner and Hooch more than Dead Poets Society might forever have ruined a career as a movie critic for him.
