Please Please Me (1963)
This album still breathed the spirit of the early Beatles years.
The Beatles recorded the album in 12 hours and it's containing songs
which they played live on stage in Hamburg and the Liverpool Cavern.
For example Chains or Twist And Shout belonged to their
repertoire.
But this album also already includes some of their own songs like Love Me Do, the first single
and Please Please Me, the first number one hit.
They didn't use any special effects at that time with the exception of A Taste Of Honey on which Paul's voice was doubled and
and so the effect was given that Paul duets himself.
